– Have the scm standards for recording and reporting the change been followed?

– How will the software and documentation libraries be created and managed?

– When: when do you start to place an entity under configuration control?

– What: selection of configuration items (what should be managed?

– How do you make sure that the code base always builds reliably?

– How and when are baselines created and physically controlled?

– If all requirements are not met, are deficiencies identified?

– What baselines are required to be defined and managed?

– Which incidents should be logged by the service desk?

– What is a Configuration Management database (cmdb)?

– What is the smallest thing controlled and tracked?

– What test mechanisms do we have in place?

– Are user sign-off documents available?

– So what needs to be under scm?
